Are you an experienced Process Development or NPD professional in the Food Manufacturing sector with a passion for turning concepts into success solutions and looking for a high-impact role where you can work on projects for major retailers?

This leading Food Manufacturer specialises in ready meal solutions for big supermarkets & foodservice providers, having over 100 years of history and a strong footprint in the UK. They operate several modern production facilities and have benefited from significant investment in recent years.

This is a key role supporting the development and scale-up of new and existing food products, ensuring they can be delivered efficiently within a manufacturing environment. You will be working cross-functionally to bring concepts to life while balancing quality, cost and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Food Manufacturing sector in an NPD or Process Development role where they have worked cross-functionally and developed a competence in Recipe, Nutrition & Yield Calculations.

This is a great opportunity for someone early into their career to enhance their experience and bolster their CV by joining a big name in the Food Manufacturing sector on a 1 year contract developing products for high-profile clients.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Supporting the development and sale-up of new and existing products to meet customer and business requirements
• Translating kitchen and concept recipes into viable factory processes
• Working with production, technical and commercial teams to ensure successful product launches
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness
• Assisting with trials, documentation and validation

The ideal person will have:

• 2+ years'' experience in NPD or Process Development in the Food Manufacturing sector
• An understanding of factory processes, scale-up and food safety standards
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Preferable holding experience with chilled products
