The department specializes in processing steel slabs into hot rolled coils through a highly complex and high-speed rolling mill. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT literacy skills and is proactive, a clear communicator and holds good attention to detail.Role: Process Control and Automation Inspector Location: TATA Steel Port Talbot SA13 2NG, United KingdomRate: £39,265 per annum Contract length: PermanentStart: ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)Responsibilities:Provide a complete range of Engineering activities to optimise production within the Primary Operations work area (Slab Yards and Re-heat furnaces).Act as the first point of contact to ensure the continued output of the Hot Mill.Diagnose and rectify faults quickly on plant end devices, instrumentation, control systems, and electrical control systems of DC and AC drives and motors.Issue permits on electrical systems once authorized and competent.Ensure strict compliance with all Health and Safety requirements and implement the company Health and Safety Policy and relevant statutory duties.React to engineering, quality, and safety issues as they arise in a timely and effective manner.Actively contribute to all activities ..... full job details .....
