      <description>Location: Leek | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Alchem Partners is supporting an established chemical manufacturer in the search for a Process Chemist. You will help develop new products, scale up processes and solve manufacturing problems, with the opportunity to see the results of your work on the plant. Working with development and operations colleagues, you will connect laboratory studies with production trials and turn technical findings into practical improvements in safety, quality, yield and throughput. Key Responsibilities  Design, carry out and evaluate laboratory studies and production trials. Support new products and processes through scale-up into commercial manufacture. Investigate process issues, identify root causes and recommend workable solutions. Improve existing processes, assessing the costs, benefits and safety implications of proposed changes. Support risk assessments, HAZOP studies and management of change activities. Share technical knowledge, update operating procedures and help train plant colleagues when introducing changes.
