Red Snapper is currently recruiting for an experienced Probation Officer to support the Offender Management Unit at HMP Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous prison offender management experience to support a busy custodial setting managing complex offender cases. Key Responsibilities:Offender management within custodyCompletion of OASys assessmentsRisk assessments and risk management planningSentence planning and case managementParole reportsMulti-agency working with probation, prisons, police and MAPPA partnersPublic protection and release planning workEssential Experience:Qualified Probation OfficerPrevious Prison OM / POM experienceStrong OASys and risk assessment experienceExperience managing high-risk or complex offendersKnowledge of MAPPA and offender management processesLocation: HMP Nottingham, Sherwood, NG5 3AG Working Pattern: Hybrid working available. Remote working may be considered, however priority will be given to candidates able to attend site regularly. Contract: Initial 3-4 month contract with strong potential for extension.
