Probation Officer- Remote

Red Snapper Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of the National Probation Service for a qualified Probation Officer to support Sentence Management remotely for the Ealing PDU.This part-time position is ideal for experienced POs seeking flexible, remote working arrangements while contributing to high-quality case management and public protection. Location: Remote (Ealing PDU) Contract Length: 3 months, with possibility of extension Hours: 22 hours per week (part-time) Pay Rate: 22.10 per hour (PAYE) or 29.09 per hour (via Umbrella)Key Responsibilities:Manage a reduced caseload of individuals subject to probation supervisionComplete sentence plans, risk assessments, and reviews using OASys and NDeliusMonitor compliance, enforce licence or court order conditions, and initiate breach proceedings where necessaryLiaise remotely with service users, partner agencies, and internal colleagues to support rehabilitation and risk managementContribute to safeguarding and public protection processes, including MAPPAMaintain accurate and up-to-date records and reportsRequirements:Qualified Probation Officer (Diploma in Probation Studies, PQF, or equivalent)Proven experience in Sentence ManagementStrong understanding of probation practice, risk assessment, and offender managementAbility to work independently and remotely, using probation case management systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsEnhanced DBS check (can be processed as part of onboarding)This is a great opportunity ..... full job details .....
