The Probate Sales Consultant position based in the City of London offers a permanent role paying up to £17.94 per hour plus commission. About the Role
This is a customer-focused sales role where you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking guidance with probate and estate administration.
This role involves speaking with people during highly emotional and sensitive situations. It requires resilience, professionalism and the ability to remain calm and compassionate while managing complex conversations. You will be trusted to manage customer conversations with flexibility and authenticity, supported by training, technology and a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers following a bereavement via phone, email and online communication channels.
- Understand each customer''s circumstances and recommend appropriate probate and estate administration services.
- Conduct consultations, explain service options clearly and provide quotations to help customers make informed decisions.
- Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to service instruction, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
- Achieve individual and team performance targets relating to customer engagement, conversion and satisfaction while maintaining high service standards.
- Maintain accurate, confidential customer records and update CRM systems accordingly.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer resources and overall service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
About You
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or another target-driven, customer-facing role.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with the confidence to support customers during sensitive conversations.
- Commercially aware and motivated to achieve performance targets while always acting in the customer''s best interests.
