You will manage cases relating to selective licensing, poor housing conditions and non-compliant landlords, progressing investigations from the initial inspection through to formal enforcement action.The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days on site each week, including office attendance and property inspections across the borough.Your responsibilities will include:Undertaking inspections of selectively licensed properties across the private rented sector.Investigating breaches of selective licensing conditions and unlicensed properties.Carrying out Housing Health and Safety Rating System inspections.Identifying and assessing Category 1 and Category 2 hazards under HHSRS.Investigating complaints involving housing disrepair, poor property conditions and landlord non-compliance.Preparing and serving statutory notices under the Housing Act 2004.Gathering evidence and progressing formal enforcement action against non-compliant landlords and ..... full job details .....
