The successful candidate will manage housing-related investigations, carry out property inspections and take appropriate enforcement action to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and protect residents from unsafe housing conditions.The Role Investigate complaints relating to housing conditions and standards within the private rented sector. Undertake property inspections, site visits and investigations to identify hazards, breaches of legislation and necessary remedial action. Manage a caseload of reactive and proactive housing enforcement investigations, ensuring cases are progressed within agreed timescales. Gather evidence, prepare witness statements and maintain accurate records to support enforcement decisions.
