The role will focus on working directly with landlords and letting agents to increase access to the private rented sector, prevent homelessness and support the reduction of temporary accommodation. The role offers hybrid working, with approximately 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with travel required for property visits. The Role ·Proactively source suitable private rented sector accommodation for homeless households and those threatened with homelessness. ·Manage a caseload of households requiring a move into the private rented sector. ·Work with households to secure sustainable PRS lettings and support homelessness prevention. ·Build and maintain relationships with private landlords, letting agents and accommodation providers. ·Negotiate with landlords and agents to secure suitable properties for households referred by the Housing Service. ·Make effective use of available incentives and tools to encourage landlords to w...
