Key Responsibilities

Identify and analyse potential investment opportunities

Lead due-diligence and deep-dive on new investments

Build and maintain financial models to support transactions and valuation analysis of prospective investments

Monitor activities with portfolio companies - providing analysis of performance and tracking monthly/quarterly financial information

Support with the management of portfolio companies, including operational and strategic decisions, as well as preparation for exit

Undertake vital analysis on market trends to support investment decisions on new transactions and portfolio companies

Assist with developing and formulating meeting materials and reports as part of presentations for Investment Committee

Develop strong working relationships with other teams internally including Business Development, Investor Relations and Operations/Finance

Candidate Requirements

3-4 years'' relevant experience as an analyst within investment banking, private equity/venture capital, corporate finance, transaction services or equivalent

Experience with life sciences investments would be desirable

Self-motivated, proactive and hard-working with a high level of commercial acumen

Team player and excellent communicator

Exceptional financial modelling skills

Positive attitude towards problem solving

Strong analytical ability and numerate

Excellent academic background
