Job Title: Private Client Tax Senior Manager Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire - 60% in office, 40% home workingSalary: £78,000 - £85,000 + benefits!About the Role:You''ll be responsible for both compliance and advisory work, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members. You''ll have the opportunity to have access to a diverse client base, primarily consisting of HNWIs including sole-traders and partnerships. While most clients are UK resident, you''ll also handle non-resident and non-domiciliary issues, particularly planning for individuals moving to and from the UK.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of income tax (including National Insurance) and capital gains taxReview Self-Assessment tax returns prepared by team members before client approval and electronic filingAssist partners in delivering high-value advisory services, including preparing reports on inheritance tax planning, residence issues, UK trusts and business structure recommendationsHandle correspondence with HMRC for s9A enquiriesPrepare and attend meetings with existing and potential clientsSet budgets for follow-up work and ensure timely completion within budgetBill clients quarterly, including making reserves and communicating billing concerns to partnersMonitor personal time budgets and chargeabilityContribute to departmental management meetingsNetwork at events for business developmentTrain and supervise junior staff membersThe Individual: CTA qualifiedStrong client-facing ..... full job details .....
