Job Title: Private Client Tax Senior Location: City of Birmingham - flexible working available!Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + benefits packageThe Role: I am seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Tax Senior to take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance services and contributing to advisory work. You will support clients in navigating complex tax matters, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding client service. The role requires strong technical knowledge, confident client handling skills, and the ability to review and support the work of junior team members while contributing to the wider success of the tax team. You day-to-day will include: Managing a portfolio of individuals, sole traders and partnerships, trusts and estates, overseeing compliance and advisory work.Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.Providing advisory support across personal tax matters, including capital gains tax, residence and domicile, property income, and business tax planning.Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering practical, commercial advice to clients.Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing tax support.Preparing and reviewing trust and estate tax returns.Liaising with HMRC to resolve client queries and handle communications.Reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting their development.Assisting with workflow ..... full job details .....
