• Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
• Prepare and review personal tax returns and associated documentation.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to optimise client outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless client service.
• Support junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and deadlines effectively.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:

• Recognised professional qualifications in accounting or tax (e.g., ACA & CTA or ATT & CTA).
• Proven expertise in private client tax matters, including compliance and advisory work.
• A thorough understanding of UK tax legislation and its practical application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
