Private Client Tax Assistant Manager / Manager Ely £45,000 - £62,000An established and growing accountancy firm is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Manager to join its expanding private client tax team in Ely. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with experience across personal tax compliance and advisory work, particularly involving trusts and private clients, to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, non-residents and trustees, alongside opportunities to contribute to advisory projects and client relationship management.Role Responsibilities Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns, including capital gains computations and property income schedules.Manage personal tax compliance deadlines and ensure timely submissions and payments.Support and deliver advisory work relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and trusts.Assist with trust compliance, trust registration matters and associated IHT considerations.Carry out Statutory Residence Test reviews and non-resident tax return work.Manage and develop a portfolio of private clients and maintain strong client relationships.Liaise directly with clients, business owners and internal teams regarding tax matters.Identify opportunities to provide additional services and support business development initiatives.Provide technical guidance and support to junior and non-tax ..... full job details .....
