ResponsibilitiesRequest information from clients and third parties (banks, building societies, pension providers, etc.) and send reminders as necessary.Collate accounts and other relevant information from departments of Silver Levene LLP.Use information to complete tax returns using tax software.Prepare letters to clients, detailing liabilities and tax-saving opportunities.Ensure clients receive their tax returns and address any queries.Obtain client approval for completed tax returns and lodge them with HMRC.Calculate total tax liability and advise clients on payment timing and methods, including interest, surcharges, and penalties.Explain and apply maximum pension contributions relative to earnings.Review tax returns generated by Tax Assistants and Semi-Seniors to support training and development.Assist the department manager with ad-hoc projects as needed.Ensure P11Ds and s336 claims are completed, signed, and submitted within deadlines.Assist partners in client meetings and arrange own meetings when appropriate.Identify work outside the normal billing cycle.Review debtors and remind clients of outstanding fees.Represent Xeinadin professionally both internally and externally.Uphold Xeinadin''s vision and values, focusing on innovation and client service.Key RequirementsATT/CTA qualified.Minimum 2 years of practical and technical tax experience.Experience managing tax compliance processes and providing advisory support.Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.Additional RequirementsOrganised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage a client portfolio and ensure high service standards.Strong technical expertise in accounting or tax, with a focus on compliance and advisory.Leadership experience with junior team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems.Professional, confident, and capable of building client relationships.Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.Committed to continuous learning and development.ModelHybridSalaryCompetitiveBenefitsCompany Pension Scheme25 days of annual leave plus bank holidaysAdditional leave based on seniority, with options to buy extra daysChristmas closureLife Assurance (x4 salary)Enhanced family leave policiesEnhanced sick payEmployee Assistance Programme (24/7 support)Corporate Discounts PlatformFlexible Benefits platform with options for insurances such as PMI, Critical Illness, Dental, etc., dependent on seniority and ..... full job details .....
