Job Title: Personal Tax Assistant Manager Location: Cardiff, Wales - hybrid working module!Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)The Role:I am seeking an experienced personal tax professional to take a leading role within a growing private client tax function. This position offers the chance to guide a high-performing team, oversee the delivery of personal tax compliance work, and help shape a modern, technology-driven approach to client service. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards while supporting process improvements, digital efficiencies, and strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day support to members of the personal tax team, encouraging development and high performance.Oversee the preparation and review of personal tax returns and related computations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with current UK tax legislation.Track team output and service standards, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times.Handle more complex client matters and support the resolution of technical queries or escalated issues.Build strong relationships with clients by delivering clear, practical, and commercially focused advice.Work collaboratively with other departments to identify additional advisory opportunities and contribute to wider business development initiatives.Ensure all work is completed in ..... full job details .....
