Private Client Solicitor (NQ+) Job Type: Full-time Location: Ayr Salary: Competitive A long-established, family-run law firm in Ayr is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (NQ+) to join their busy and well-respected team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified solicitor or someone with post-qualification experience who is looking to build a strong, well-rounded career in Private Client work within a supportive and genuinely collaborative environment. Day-to-day of the role: Handle a broad range of Private Client matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries, and general lifetime planning and client advice. Engage in highly client-facing tasks, providing opportunities to build long-term relationships within the local community. Work directly alongside one of the Directors, benefiting from close mentorship and day-to-day support. Collaborate with a supportive team structure that includes a Director (Head of Private Client), another Solicitor, a Paralegal, a Receptionist, and a Secretary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Newly Qualified solicitor or someone with post-qualification experience in Private Client work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
