Private Client Solicitor

I am working with a progressive and well regarded firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with at least one years PQE who is keen to develop their career within Private Client. You''ll work closely with senior Solicitors and manage a broad and interesting caseload covering Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Executry Administration. The role will include taking instructions and drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney, administering executry estates and trusts, preparing Confirmation and Inheritance Tax forms, drafting executry accounts and managing the financial administration of estates. You''ll have responsibility for your own caseload from initial instruction through to the final distribution of an estate. There will also be the opportunity to support and supervise Paralegals and Trainees as your experience develops. You should have previous Private Client experience gained within a Scottish law firm, together with a genuine interest in this area of law. You''ll be comfortable managing deadlines, producing accurate documentation and keeping up to date with developments in relevant law and tax regulations. Just as importantly, the firm is looking for someone who is approachable, enthusiastic and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
