We are working with a well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm to recruit a Private Client Solicitor / Probate Executive for its York office on a full-time, permanent basis.This opportunity sits within a supportive and experienced Private Client team and would suit either a newly qualified solicitor with prior experience in Wills and Probate or an established Solicitor/Executive looking to take the next step in their career. You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and will benefit from working alongside knowledgeable colleagues in a collaborative, people-focused environment.The RoleYou will be responsible for handling a broad range of private client work, including:WillsLasting Powers of AttorneyProbate and estate administrationThe role requires a high standard of client care, strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to case management, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRun a caseload of private client matters from initial instruction through to completionDraft Wills and advise clients on estate planning mattersPrepare and manage applications for Powers of AttorneyHandle the administration of estates, including probate mattersRespond to new client enquiries and provide clear, practical adviceSupport other fee earners within the Private Client team as requiredDraft costs and manage billing, ensuring recovery of monies dueMaintain up-to-date legal ..... full job details .....
