JOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor
PQE: 1 – 3 Years
LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid Working – 3 Days in Office)

THE ROLE: A highly respected regional law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (1-3 years PQE) to join its growing Wills, Trusts, and Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top-tier department (ranked Band One in Chambers and Legal 500) that offers high-quality work, structured development, and a supportive team environment. This role is ideal for a junior solicitor looking to grow their expertise in private client work, with extensive support and hands-on experience from day one. You’ll work on a broad caseload of non-contentious private client matters, including:

- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration, including inheritance tax advice
- Preparation and submission of IHT accounts
- Advising a diverse range of private clients

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own files, build client relationships, and contribute to the team’s business development activities.

THE CANDIDATE:

- 1–3 years’ PQE as a solicitor in private client law
- Strong drafting and technical skills across Wills, LPAs, and estate administration
- A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn, take on responsibility, and contribute to team success
- Interest in developing business relationships and growing your own client base
- A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
