A Private Client Solicitor is sought for a permanent, full-time post in Cambridge, offering £40,000 to £50,000 yearly. The successful candidate, at least two years qualified, will manage wills, probate, trusts, estates and lasting powers of attorney for individual clients. Strong technical knowledge, meticulous drafting and clear communication with bereaved families are essential. Working alongside colleagues in a supportive private client department, the solicitor handles a varied caseload while building lasting relationships with clients and referrers. Ongoing training and genuine progression prospects are provided. Applications from solicitors keen to advance within a respected regional practice are welcomed.

OVERVIEW:

• The successful Private Client Solicitor will have at least 2+ years' PQE and a solid grounding in advising on all types of private client matters.
• You will manage your own caseload and work closely with experienced colleagues across a broad range of matters, including Wills, LPAs, Administration of Estates, Probate and Trusts.
• You will advise clients on all aspects of lifetime planning and private client work, building strong and lasting client relationships throughout.
• The team acts for a diverse client base, including elderly and vulnerable clients, business owners, landlords and agricultural clients.
• The successful candidate will have a keen interest in developing their expertise into more complex private client matters, allowing you to progress your career within a highly successful and busy department.
• A STEP qualification or working towards one would be advantageous but is not essential.
