This full-time, hybrid role as a Private Client Solicitor in Hertfordshire offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience. Joining a Chambers and Legal 500 recognised firm, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload covering wills, estate planning, probate, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. Applicants should have at least three years' PQE and demonstrate strong technical knowledge alongside compassionate client care. THE ROLE
You will take ownership of a varied and rewarding caseload spanning wills, estate planning, probate, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters, guiding clients through important life events with expert, compassionate advice. With the autonomy to manage your own caseload from instruction to completion, you will build lasting client relationships, collaborate with a supportive team, and play an active role in the continued growth of an ambitious Private Client department.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in Private Client matters. Confident managing your own caseload, you will bring strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine passion for client care. STEP qualification would be advantageous, alongside a proactive, personable approach and the ability to deliver clear, timely, and sensitive advice while building trusted client relationships.
