A well-established and award-winning law firm with a strong UK and international presence is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor into its growing team. The firm is known for delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services and offers a supportive and collaborative environment with genuine opportunities for progression.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor with around 5 years PQE to join a high-performing and forward-thinking team.

You will handle a varied caseload with a strong focus on inheritance tax planning, estate planning and estate administration, acting for a broad range of clients including high-net-worth individuals.

There will also be an expectation to get involved in business development, with occasional travel and out-of-hours commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied private client caseload including IHT planning, Wills, LPAs, estate administration and lifetime trusts
• Advising clients on estate and succession planning matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working to targets and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Supporting the wider team and contributing to its growth
• Ensuring compliance with internal systems and quality procedures
• Actively contributing to business development

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with circa 5 years PQE
• Strong experience in private client work, particularly IHT and estate planning
• Confident managing a caseload independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to winning work
• Experience supporting or leading business development initiatives
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A team player with a hands-on and motivated approach
