Private Client Locum Solicitor – Ongoing Assignment | Immediate Start

A well-regarded and busy private client team is seeking an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor to provide interim support. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and self-sufficient locum to join a reputable firm with a consistent and high-quality caseload.

Role Details:

- Position: Private Client Locum Solicitor
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Office-based at least 2 days per week (flexibility for more if preferred)
- Duration: Ongoing assignment (with potential for extension)
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum of 2 office days; remote flexibility around this)

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied private client caseload including:

- Wills
- Probate
- Estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and tax planning (if experienced)
- Independently progressing matters from instruction to conclusion
- Delivering excellent client care and maintaining professional standards
- Using a case management system for efficient file handling and compliance

Requirements:

- A qualified solicitor or legal executive with solid experience in private client law
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working both independently and within a supportive team
- Availability to attend the office at least 2 days per week is essential
- Competent with digital systems and modern case management software
