OVERVIEW
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the busy and friendly Private Client team at one of the South West''s most respected Legal 500-ranked practice with a strong and growing reputation across the region.

Due to continued growth, the firm are seeking a Legal Assistant to support their experienced Private Client team in Totnes. This is a great role for someone with legal or administrative experience who wants to build a long-term career in a respected firm known for its supportive culture and career progression.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Legal Assistant in the Private Client team, you will support experienced Solicitors handling a broad range of matters, including wills, probate, and estate planning.
- Maintaining accurate client and matter records
- Acting as a point of contact for clients in coordination with fee earners
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Supporting the smooth running of the department through high-quality administrative assistance

ABOUT YOU
- Experience working in a busy administrative or legal environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- High attention to detail and good numeracy
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Familiarity with case management systems is an advantage (training provided)
