Private Client Legal Assistant

About the Role

You will provide full secretarial support to one fee earner within the Private Client department. The role requires excellent audio typing skills and the confidence to manage a busy and varied workload using your own initiative.

Private Client Legal Assistant Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive secretarial support one on one with a Private Client Fee Earner
• Producing accurate documentation and correspondence-
• Supporting wider department members on occasion, when needed
• Assisting with reception cover at lunchtimes and during absences, when needed
• Anticipating and meeting the needs of the department proactively

Private Client Legal Assistant Requirements

• Previous Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary experience is essential
• Previous Private Client experience is preferable
• Excellent secretarial and audio typing skills with strong attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and effective written and verbal communication
• Competent in Word, Outlook and other Microsoft products
• Able to work flexibly, cope well under pressure and manage changing priorities
• Positive, proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative
