Privacy and Compliance Lead

Robert Half has partnered with a Middleton based client to recruit for a Privacy and Compliance Lead.This is a broad and varied opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys working across privacy, regulatory compliance, operational risk and fraud. The successful candidate will take ownership of key privacy activities while supporting the wider business with practical compliance and risk advice.Key responsibilities:Lead day-to-day privacy and data protection activities across the business.Provide practical advice on data protection, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.Complete and maintain privacy assessments and relevant compliance documentation.Manage data protection requests, privacy queries and related complaints.Review potential fraud indicators and support investigations where required.Support compliance monitoring, assurance and risk management activities.Assist with the development of policies, procedures, training and awareness.Work with stakeholders across the business to identify and manage regulatory and operational risks.Support the business in maintaining high standards of customer fairness, integrity and compliance.About you:Experience in a compliance, privacy, fraud, governance or regulatory risk environment.Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to assess information and make sound recommendations.Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.Comfortable working with stakeholders across different levels of an ..... full job details .....
