Prison cleared RGN

Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with prison cleared RGN''s to work within a Category B Male Prison in Bootle, Liverpool, on a rolling contract basis.

To be considered for this position you must have current/in date prison clearance.

The role will include working as part of the Primary Care team within the prison, providing high standard care to the in-patients. You will need to be able to think on your feet and handle situations under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations.
• Work with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
• Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.
• To maintain clear and accurate records of discussions, assessments made, interventions, treatment and medicines delivered in accordance with Prison guidelines.
• Be constantly alert to changes in patients'' conditions and the implications in terms of care.
• Provide treatment and care for prisoners with enduring mental health needs.

Pay rates for this post;

• Weekdays - -29.11
• Saturday/Sunday - -30.38
