The RoleReporting to the Assistant Manager, Transport and Priority Waste, successful candidates will be responsible for:Driving council vehicles and operating safely within daily routes and schedulesCollecting and transporting priority waste including bulky household items, fridge freezers, and recyclable materialsCarrying out priority cleansing duties including:Street cleansingGraffiti and fly-poster removalGum removalStreet furniture washingLand clearance and street washingSupporting general waste collection and street cleansing services when requiredCompleting all relevant paperwork, driver checks, and incident reporting documentationEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation and council proceduresWorking effectively as part of an operational team in a public-facing environmentAssisting with emergency and seasonal duties including snow clearance and gritting operationsEssential CriteriaApplicants must, by the closing date:Hold a full current Category C1 driving licenceHold a valid Driver CPC Qualification ..... full job details .....
