Printing Machine Operator

Vibe Recruit are looking for Printing Machine Operator to work for our client in Blackwood.

Full time role.

Rotation of 3 shifts: Days 6am-2pm Afternoons 2pm-10pm and Nights 10pm-6am

Rate:-15.21/h

Key Responsibilities

• Check raw material specifications, including size, board type, grams per square metre and board supplier, to ensure they meet the requirements of the job.
• Remove packaging from reels.
• Load reels onto the machine using the automatic reel change system.
• Unload reels from the rewinder system.
• Manage SAP labelling and traceability.
• Maintain effective waste management and housekeeping in line with 5S and BRC requirements.
• Carry out quality control in accordance with existing procedures.
• Participate in the company''s TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Continuous Improvement programmes.
• Support other team members within the Maintenance Department.
• Take a proactive approach to Health & Safety, including completing daily guard-check documentation.
• Training will be provided to support make-ready activities and consumables control, including plate changes, anilox changes, ink and varnish changes.
