Print Production Operative

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established, family-run design and print company, that has been successfully trading for over 30 years.
  
Along with a friendly and supportive working culture, and great work-life balance (no evenings or weekends), you’ll use your print and finishing skills to produce a variety of high-quality signage, graphics and display materials. Occasional installation work may also be available for candidates who are interested in developing this skill.
  
As a Print Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating print & pressroom equipment to finish and complete a range of printing jobs
• Selecting the correct media profile and rip the job for print (training provided if required)
• Ensuring correct sizing and applying the appropriate correction curves
• Packing and preparing finished items ready for dispatch
• Managing and coordinating deliveries with couriers and delivery companies
• Visiting local customers'' sites to assist with installations on occasions

 What you’ll need:

• Knowledge of print production practices and practical experience in a print environment
• Experience of wide-format digital printers and managing print jobs using RIP software would be an advantage
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to undertake additional tasks as required
• A full UK driving license

Other info:

• Salary from £30,000 to 35,000 depending on experience
• Mon – Thursday 8-5pm and 8-4pm Fridays
