Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm
Hourly rate: £15.30-16.30 per hour
  
Our fast growing client based in Hertford are looking for a Print Finisher to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of finishing processes to ensure all printed materials meet their high-quality standards and client specifications.
  
Main duties as a Print Finisher:

• Set up and operate a range of print finishing equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
• Carry out precision cutting using guillotine machinery.
• Produce professionally finished books, brochures and printed materials using PUR binding equipment.
• Operate die-cutting machinery to create bespoke printed products.
• Complete saddle stitching of booklets and other bound materials.
• Perform folding, laminating, creasing, perforating and additional finishing processes as required.
• Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the finishing process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Package completed jobs and prepare them for distribution and delivery.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or operational issues.  

• Previous experience within a print finishing or print production environment.
• Hands-on experience operating guillotines, PUR binding machines, die-cutters and saddle stitching equipment.
• Strong understanding of print production processes and finishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to prioritise workload and consistently meet production deadlines.
• Well-organised with strong time management skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices within a manufacturing or print environment.
• A proactive and reliable team player with strong communication skills.
