Print Finisher / Large Format Printer

Location:-Glasgow, Scotland

Company:-Leading Large Format and Signage company.

Role:-The purpose of this role is to assist within the production team; ensuring jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.

The main task is to assist in the production of high-quality large format digital prints where you will be part of the finishing team, operating a guillotine and finishing machines. Ideally you will have experience working in a similar role.

• Setting and running guillotine presses
• Producing large format digital prints
• Operating a Zund
• Laminating, cutting and weeding vinyl
• Applying vinyl to foamex, dibond, acm etc
• Operating large format printers such as Durst, Swiss Q, Epson, Mimaki, Kongsberg Finishing machines
• Using software such as Caldera
• Able to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times

Requirements:

• Large format print experience would be an advantage but would consider small format
• Experience running guillotine machines ideally large
• Experience working within a print manufacturing background
• Flexible attitude to working time
