Print & Post Support Part Time
Location: Brentwood Town Hall
Pay: -14.86 per hour paye
Assignment: 6 months temporary contract, 3 days per week or 5 mornings per week (22.2 hours per week)

About the Role
Brentwood Borough Council is seeking a proactive and organised Print & Post Support Officer to join the Corporate Services team on a temporary basis. This role is covering a period of absence and will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day printing, postal and identification badge functions across the council.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering an efficient support service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing post.
• Supporting council-wide printing and document production requirements.
• Creating and issuing staff ID badges.
• Ensuring all printing and postal tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Providing general support to the Corporate Services team as required.
• Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Is confident working independently and managing their workload.
• Has good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Has strong communication and customer service skills.
• Is reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous administrative, print room, mail room or office support experience would be beneficial.

This is a temporary assignment with immediate start for the right candidate - Interview process will be via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face.
