Principal Urban Designer

to join our Design team in our London Office. We welcome applications from experienced Masterplanners, Layout Designers, Architects, and Senior Urban Designers, as we aim to select the most suitable candidate for our array of complex projects across the UK. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with a proficient team of designers and architects, engaging in urban design and planning activities, feasibility studies, layout development, formulation of development briefs, and design strategies for residential, mixed-use schemes, and beyond.What We Are Looking ForHold a relevant Undergraduate Degree, Masters or Diploma in Urban Design / Architecture / Built EnvironmentWork experience in private practice / consultancy or a commercial housebuilding operationExperience of detailed design/RMAOutline application experienceA working knowledge of the planning system with an ability to interpret and adapt to specific local authority design guidanceKnowledge of CAD software packages. Experience in Vectorworks and/or Sketchup would be an advantage but not essentialWork independently with other consultantsConfident liaising with clients, building relationships and understanding client requirementsStrong project management skillsExcellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skillsSelf-motivated with an excellent eye for detailBenefitsWe offer an excellent remuneration and overall benefits package when you join Pegasus Group, which you can view at the company website.
