Job Title: Principal Transport PlannerLocation: Godalming, SurreyAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to join a growing Transport Planning team based in Godalming, Surrey.The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of development planning projects throughout the UK, covering residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial and mixed-use developments.This is a senior technical position where you will take responsibility for managing projects from initial feasibility through to planning determination and post-consent support. You will work closely with clients, planning consultants, architects, developers and local authorities, whilst also providing technical guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a range of development planning projects from inception through to completion.Prepare, review and oversee Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Technical Notes and Access Appraisals.Undertake and review junction capacity assessments using Junctions 11, PICADY, ARCADY and LinSig.Provide technical transport planning advice to clients throughout the planning process.Liaise with Local Planning Authorities, Highway Authorities and other statutory consultees.Manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables across multiple commissions.Mentor and support Graduate and Consultant-level Transport Planners.Undertake technical ..... full job details .....
