Principal Transport Planner We are looking for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to join a growing transport planning team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced who wants to take a key role in delivering high-quality projects, managing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the team. The business takes a collaborative approach, encouraging colleagues at all levels to share ideas, knowledge and expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. You will work across a varied portfolio of projects, primarily within the private sector, supporting a diverse client base including high-profile developers, landowners, housebuilders, retailers, universities, NHS healthcare providers and contractors. The role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and wants to see the tangible results of their work. The Role Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include: Preparing Transport Notes, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans; Undertaking site access and development appraisals; Acting as a Travel Plan Coordinator where required; Applying relevant local and national transport planning policy and guidance; Undertaking junction capacity modelling using Junctions software, including ARCADY and PICADY; Traffic signal modelling and design using LinSig; Preparing preliminary designs for site accesses, junction improvements and highway schemes using AutoCAD; ..... full job details .....
