This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced traffic signals professional who enjoys combining technical delivery, team leadership and client engagement whilst working on a range of high-profile transport projects across the UK.The RoleAs a Principal Traffic Signals Engineer, you''ll take a leading role in the delivery of traffic signal and intelligent transport projects for both public and private sector clients. You''ll be responsible for managing projects from concept through to implementation whilst mentoring junior engineers and maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:Leading the design and delivery of traffic signal and ITS projects.Managing project programmes, budgets, risks and technical quality.Providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians.Producing and reviewing signal designs, technical reports, specifications and drawings.Developing junction improvement schemes including signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings and network optimisation projects.Advising clients on traffic signal control strategies, network management and emerging technologies.Supporting FAT, SAT, commissioning and post-implementation validation ..... full job details .....
