The Town Planning team works on major infrastructure and development projects in the UK, including DCOs and energy transition projects.What you’ll do
Lead and assist in the delivery of major development applications.Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.Submit and manage planning applications, liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders.Provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted development rights.Produce planning feasibility reports and consent strategies.Write Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications.Contribute to business development in specific market sectors and lead preparation of successful tenders.Identify opportunities, build client relationships and engage in stakeholder meetings.Oversee project management with a focus on quality and health and safety.What we’re looking for
Education: Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.Membership of the RTPI or equivalent professional body.Significant experience leading planning applications for large infrastructure projects across multiple consenting regimes.Excellent client focus with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; existing relationships with clients and local authorities are advantageous.Business development mindset with experience in winning work and developing client relationships.Strong written communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure.Commitment to delivering high-quality work.About the team and role
