As the Principal Thermal Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. Due to the nature of what you will be working on, you will be required to obtain high level MOD security clearance. You will be involved in:Take ownership of delivering packages of thermal analysis workProvide mechanical analysis support to develop designs and deliver thermal performance evidenceDeliver analysis evidence in clear reports with firm conclusion statementsParticipate in team meetings and design reviewsManage workload against time schedules and report progress regularly to stakeholdersResponsible for dealing and collaborating with project stakeholders (internal and external) Your skillset may include:Proven ability to carry out thermal analysis through the application of hand calculations and Finite Element methods (e.g. ANSYS)Experience carrying out studies to determine the effects of conduction, convection, and radiation on the thermal response ..... full job details .....
