This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced temporary works professional to take on a senior technical role within a dynamic business delivering innovative and bespoke engineering solutions across a wide range of construction sectors.As a Principal Temporary Works Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of temporary works projects, working closely with clients, contractors and other members of the design team. You will be responsible for developing practical and innovative engineering solutions, ensuring designs are technically robust, safe and compliant with relevant industry standards.The role will involve working across a diverse range of projects, providing technical expertise from initial concept through to detailed design and implementation. You will produce and review calculations, designs and technical drawings, attend site visits and surveys, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.The successful Principal Temporary Works Engineer will have strong experience in a design-focused role within the UK construction industry, with a detailed understanding of temporary works and BS5975.
