Principal Technical Lead

Principal Technical Lead - Maldon District Council £27.29 per hour PAYE (approx. £53,200.00 per annum + 28 days holiday) Full Time Location: Maldon, CM9 5DL 2 days per week on site, 3 days work from home The role: Reporting into the Technical Support Team Leader, you will: Support the day-to-day management, workflow and prioritisation of Technical Support and Validation Officers Act as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive customer and internal enquiries Help drive service improvement, consistency and resilience across Development Management processes Support staff development, performance management and training The experience you will bring: Strong experience in Development Management and/or Building Control environments Confidence managing workflows, priorities and competing demands The ability to support and develop others through coaching, guidance and clear communication Experience contributing to business or process improvement initiatives A customer-focused approach, with the confidence to handle complex or contentious enquiries To find out more information please contact Abbie at Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
