Providing specialist safety advice to the SDA to support their authorization of the Product safety, in accordance with Company processesEnsuring that safety activities conducted on the Programme, within the scope of the TDP Systems, follow the plan described in the safety management plan and that the analysis is complete and correct.Identifying and analysing intrinsic hazards, including mitigation to reduce the residual safety risks to an ALARP level for the ISANKE and ICS TDP systemIdentifying and analysing functional hazards, including mitigation to reduce the residual safety risks to an ALARP level for the ISANKE and ICS TDP systemEliciting ISANKE and ICS TDP safety requirements and flowing these down to the appropriate levelReviewing individual TDP Subsystem System safety analysis and incorporating the outcomes in the integrated ISANKE and ICS analysis.Review aircraft level safety analysis and ensure it aligns with ISANKE and ICS TDP Systems safety analysisDocumenting the integrated ISANKE and ICS TDP Systems safety assessment as described in the safety management plan.Presenting a summary of the integrated ISANKE and ICS TDP Systems safety assessment at the ISANKE and ICS TDP Design Reviews.Experience required
Experience of safety analysis of complex systems in a safety-critical industryA relevant STEM degreeKnowledge of lasers, radar systems, and/or sensors and defensive aids systemsExperience across a number of engineering lifecycle phasesExperience in leading and delivering a safety work package across multiple teamsExperience with ARP4754B, ARP4761A, RTCA DO-254, or DO-178C (not essential)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying senioritiesA passion for promoting and improving safety cultureDisclaimer
