Principal SurveyorContract: Initial 3-month contractRate: £28.25 per hourWorking Pattern: Full-time preferred, part-time consideredLocation: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week in the office)We are seeking an experienced Principal Surveyor to join our small, friendly Estates team on an initial 3-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to provide professional support to the Head of Estates and manage a varied estates caseload across the Council''s property portfolio.Day-to-day of the role:Support the Head of Estates in delivering Estates and Asset Management services.Manage a professional caseload including property valuations, acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and general estate management duties.Provide professional support to the Council''s Business Centres Management Team.Contribute to effective asset and property management outcomes across the estate.Work collaboratively within a small team environment.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience working at a Principal Surveyor or senior estates level.Strong background in valuations, disposals, landlord and tenant, and estate management.Service charge accounting experience is beneficial but not essential.A working knowledge of the Northwest property market is preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.Benefits:Opportunity to work within a supportive, friendly Estates ..... full job details .....
