Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join our thriving technical community and growing public sector business in the UK. You would be part of a friendly and supportive team, working together to bring the latest in cloud computing technologies to organisations serving the public.Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor across UK Public Sector, providing sales leadership guidance and developing market-specific technical strategies.Inform AWS senior leaders'' business and technical decisions, leveraging broad market awareness to anticipate industry trends and customer needs.Support broader organizational initiatives across multiple industries and help customers solve business challenges at an executive level.Create and share best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures; evangelise and educate about AWS technology.Contribute to shaping the future of cloud computing technology across the UK Public Sector.Act as a technical leader and strategic influencer, decomposing complex problems into clear, elegant solutions.Influence long-term strategic direction with customers, identifying risks and advising on trade-offs to meet long-term goals.Build consensus across diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions and mentor other Solutions Architects to grow the community.About The Team / Company

Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computingExperience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analyticsExperience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publicationsExperience producing technology strategies and thought leadership across multiple Public Sector industriesPreferred Qualifications

Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalentKnowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalentKnowledge of database design and implementation or equivalentStrong presentation and whiteboarding skills with comfort speaking to executives, IT management, and developersExperience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloudAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
