Principal RF Design Engineer

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Principal RF Design Engineer based in Norwich, Norfolk to join the market leader involved within an exciting technology sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer to be involved with development and progression of multiple projects. This job is ideal for an experienced, hands-on RF and antenna engineer who enjoys technical ownership, solving complex electromagnetic challenges, and mentoring junior engineers, while contributing to the development of a strong UK-based RandD capability. Main Responsibilities of the Principal RF Design Engineer (Hybrid):Design, simulate, and develop RF and microwave systemsOwn antenna and RF design activities from concept through simulation, prototyping, test, and production handoverAct as a senior technical contributor on projects, supporting architectural decisions and design reviewsCollaborate closely with RF, electronics, systems, and mechanical engineers to ensure optimal system integrationSupport development of RF subsystems including filters, amplifiers, switches, and associated control interfacesPerform antenna, RF, and EMC testing, correlating lab results electronic or other high-reliability environmentsPractical experience across simulation, prototyping, measurement, and validationAbility to communicate complex RF concepts clearly within multidisciplinary teams This is a fantastic job opportunity to join a well-established, successful Norwich, Norfolk ..... full job details .....
