Priory Hospital Kemple View, Blackburn, Lancashire is a 90-bedded hospital providing level 2 rehabilitation and secure services for adult males with mental health conditions and/or personality disorders. It is accessible by public transport, with a local train station approximately a 3-minute drive away. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended. What you''ll be doing As a Principal Psychologist, you''ll play a key role in delivering and developing the psychology service within the hospital/unit. You''ll provide high-quality psychological input that is responsive to the individual needs, risks and presentations of patients, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. You''ll be responsible for: Leading the psychology provision for a designated ward or group of patients, as agreed with the Head of Psychology. Undertaking comprehensive psychological assessments, formulation and evaluation to understand patients'' needs and inform their care. Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, both individually and in groups, tailored to patients'' presentations and care pathways.
