Our Technology teams are responsible for the systems and infrastructure that enable clinicians to deliver world-class care, including patient records, health plans, client communications, diary management and dispensing.We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to join us on our mission of Healthier Pets = Happier Owners.What you will be doing
Be a strategic leader working across a domain wider than a single squad, collaborating with Heads of Technology and Senior Operational Partners to drive real change in healthcare teams.Understand our world: quickly learn the industry context (veterinary/pet healthcare) and contribute to user research artefacts over time.Champion user-centered principles: lead by example for our growing team of Product Designers—setting context, storytelling or service mapping, prototyping, iteration, and measuring impact to mature product practices.Think big, but test small: address problems with end-to-end thinking, maintain a North Star vision while validating approaches with short feedback loops.Shape strategy: lead 0-to-1 initiatives, evaluating value, viability and feasibility in collaboration with other Principals or Heads of Product, Engineering, and Architecture.Leadership: contribute at Senior Leadership level for a Tribe and cross-functional departments; mentorship of designers is encouraged, though line management is not required.What are you expected to bring to the team
Experience: -10+ years creating and shipping intuitive digital experiences, with a strong portfolio; healthcare experience is a bonus.Team player: kindness, humility, authenticity, and a collaborative mindset.Communication: clear articulation of product and design decisions; provide honest, actionable feedback.Growth mindset: continuous improvement of craft, collaboration, and outcomes; initiative to drive improvements.Toolkit: proficient with Figma, familiar with a Design System, and capable of building prototypes to validate usability or product-market fit.You matter to us
