Completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activitiesMentoring and developing junior engineersReviewing and producing explosion safety strategiesPeer reviewing workRisk analysisDeveloping and producing processes and policy documentation for the siteYour skills and experiences

Essential :Experience of working in an explosion safety engineering environment and applying various methods of hazard analysisDSEAR risk assessment production including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry)A thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and Proven track record in implementing business processes to achieve strategic objectivesDesirable :Degree qualified in a STEM disciplineCOMAH – Control of Major Accident Hazards (Safety Case support) experienceSite Asset Protection experience and Fire Safety Engineering experienceBenefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team; you will work with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments, and the Health and Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team with opportunities for professional growth within the function.
