Principal Private Sector Housing Officer

We''re currently looking for an experienced Principal Private Sector Housing Officer to join a local authority on an interim basis.

The role will involve leading on a range of Private Sector Housing functions, including:

• HMO licensing and inspections
• HHSRS assessments
• Private sector housing inspections and investigations
• Enforcement action and statutory notices
• Housing complaints and service requests
• Working with landlords, tenants and managing agents
• Providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues

We''re looking for someone with strong local authority Private Sector Housing experience, who is confident handling complex cases, enforcement and inspections, and can operate at a senior/principal level.
